Mike Thorne has an entrepreneurial spirit tougher than steel – strong enough to ignore his friends and family who were a little leery of Mike’s new found dream of becoming a professional junk hauler. But, Mike saw a niche that needed to be filled, and he was determined to fill it. Starting Just Junk with just a van and a vision left Mike with little to work with when recruiting staff, but his strong leadership skills and enthusiasm when he spoke of his idea and his future plans were all it took to attract the bright-minded individuals who comprise his team. Mike has changed the face of junk management from the sometimes questionable individual who shows up in your driveway in a beat up pick up truck who only accepts cash to one of professionalism, cleanliness, respect for the customer, with a variety of payment options. Without Mike’s hard work, determination and dedication Just Junk would not be where it is today.
